The colour scheme brief was to have a sophisticated appeal to catch the eye from the surrounding commercial units without being obtrusive. I drew inspiration from the surrounding local landscape on the Sunshine Coast, and developed the colour concept scheme, called Industrial Green Retreat.

With a pop of green against the neutral shades, it makes a subtle peaceful statement. Dulux Paint was our preferred brand for the exterior and interior. Dulux Powder Coating Range was used on the aluminium fins at the side of building.

Following the completion of the building art work and signage were added as a unique feature. It seemed fitting to compliment my original concept of the Industrial Green Retreat to include the local fauna. A white cockatoo artwork sits above the address signage on the first fin overlooking the world beneath him like a sentinel.
